Atchison County Line sign on Highway K7 south out of Doniphan County. Mr. Lincoln came by here December 2, 1859, on his way from Doniphan City to Atchison. Mr. Lincoln gave his Talk directly northeast across Parallel Street from this First Responders Memorial. Number 14 is the Methodist Church where Mr. Lincoln gave his talk. Number 1 is the Courthouse.
